### DROPOUTS ###

If a Coach fails to attend, quits or concedes an ongoing match early the T.O may deem them to have forfeit the game. In this situation a Win is recorded for the attending/remaining Coach as follows:

TPs = 3

Score = Avg from the Winning Scores for the Round (rnd up) ***This had previously been set to be recorded as a 7-0 landslide but has been brought inline with other averages being applied to keep performance within a Round consistent***

Fan Checks, Serious Injuries Caused and Strikes Scored = Avg from all games for the Round (rnd up)

  • Please report any such occurrences to the T.O via the DreadBall Fanatics group to allow mediation and resolution prior to a forfeit being declared.

If a Coach drops out of the event and they have fixtures remaining to be played, the T.O will endeavour to fulfil the remaining fixtures using a Coach on the Reserves List.

  • If no Reserve Coach can be provided, the T.O will make a determination for any previous and future results and their effect on the Standings.

Results for each fixture of the tournament should be submitted by ONE of the participating Coaches per fixture (to be agreed between the Coaches themselves).

Results must be submitted by 23:59 GMT+1 the day prior to the next Round commencing. ***UPDATE – Round 4 results must be submitted by 18:00 GMT+1 on Sunday 9th August***

Results must be submitted using the form provided on this website – link: https://foxrisedesign.com/dreadball/results-form/

### ESSENTIAL RESULTS DATA ###

The information from the games played that need to be recorded and submitted for each Coach are:

  • Final Score
  • Strikes Scored **(defined as the number of times a Strike is scored, regardless of it’s points value)**
  • Fan Checks Made **(defined as each individual Fan Check where you take a card, NOT the total number of Cheers displayed on that card/on all your cards)**
  • Serious Injuries Caused **(defined as causing an opposing player to be removed from the game permanently due to 4+ damage remaining)**

NOTE: Whilst being run over an extended period, the Summer Series is not considered a league and so players do not accrue any experience or advancements per games played.

Scoring of the event standings will be calculated using the following Tournament Points (TPs) system:

RESULT:

  • Win = 3 TPs
  • Draw = 1 TP
  • Loss = 0 TP
